Visitation:

Resident visitation is based on the letter that the residents last name starts with.  Please see chart below.

A to C - First Sunday of the month - Check in time 1:15pm - Visitation times 1:30pm to 2:30pm
D to J - Second Sunday of the month - Check in time 1:15pm - Visitation times 1:30pm to 2:30pm
K to P - Third Sunday of the month - Check in time 1:15pm - Visitation times 1:30pm to 2:30pm
Q to Z - Fourth Sunday of the month - Check in time 1:15pm - Visitation times 1:30pm to 2:30pm
---------- For the months that have 5 Sundays in it, there will be no visitation on the Fifth Sunday.

Information on visitation:

The facility does not have public restrooms. Please do not bring anything into the facility when coming to see a resident. Cell phones and tobacco products should be locked in your vehicle. Cameras, purses, diaper bags, food and drinks are likewise not allowed in the facility for safety reasons. The facility is not responsible for damage to visitor or a visitors personal property. The resident can only have 4 visitors and please bring identification.
Family Support Group:

The Family Support Group is held on the Third Sunday each month by Invitation only. Check in time is 12:15pm and the presentation starts at 12:30pm and ends at 1:30pm. Your family member will be allowed a 4 hour furlough after the presentation is over. This presentation will be between the family of the resident and a facilitator, the resident will not be present during the presentation. The invitations will be sent two weeks prior to the presentation and the Facility will contact the person that the resident addressed the invitation to by phone a week prior to confirm attendance.
Furloughs:

Residents in Phase 3 are allowed two 4 hour furloughs that can be used with each other and a 4 hour Family Support Group furlough..

Residents in Phase 4 are allowed a 4 hour furlough each week or they can skip a week and take an 8 hour furlough. Residents with behavioral problems will not be granted furloughs.

The ISF utilizes a rewards program, please see below.
If the resident does not receive a violation 60 days after intake date they are granted a free 4 hour furlough.
If the resident does not miss a work day due to illness they are granted a free 4 hour furlough
after 45 days of being employed. Residents that earn a GED while at the Facility are granted an 8 hour furlough.
Residents that go 150 days from intake date without a violation are granted an 8 hour furlough.

APPROVED SPONSORS FOR FURLOUGHS MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND BE ABIDING BY TEXAS STATE LAW PERTAINING TO OWNERSHIP OF A VEHICLE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS.
Items residents are allowed to have:

7 pair white socks - 7 pair solid color boxers or briefs - 7 white T-Shirts - Coat and/or Sweatshirt (NO HOODIES) - Work Boots and Tennis Shoes
Pajamas - Civilian clothing (solid colors, no printing please).

Commissary Funds: If you choose to send your family member money please send or bring money orders, Cash and personal checks are not accepted.
